Visa Information

For your information about Visas:

Ordinary passport holders who wish to enter Thailand to participate in MICE event (Meeting, Incentives, Convention & Exhibitions) supported by TCEB is subjected to be granted Tourist visa, which means individuals travelling to Thailand to attend the event have to apply for a "Tourist Visa".

 

To assess if you are required apply for a visa, please visit the official Thai eVisa website: https://www.thaievisa.go.th/tourist-visa. For participants from countries exempted from Thai visas, a valid passport (with at least six months validity from the travel date) is usually sufficient for entry.

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document

  2. Photograph taken within the last six months. If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

  3. Travel booking confirmation

  4. Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand

  5. Financial evidence: amount of not less than 20,000 THB (Single) and 60,000 THB (Multiple), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter

  6. Document indicating current residency

In cases where attendees need to apply for a visa, they should consider the "Tourist MICE Visa (TR-MICE)" category. Foreign citizens who are not eligible to enter Thailand under the Visa on Arrival or Visa Exemption list are required to get a visa through a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence. We recommend that you fill in your application as soon as possible – the processing and handling time may vary due to individual circumstances or other specific requirements.

 

Please note that the grant or refusal of the visa is at the sole discretion of the Royal Thai Embassy and consulate. TCEB is neither involved in the process nor is in the position to influence the grant of visa for any individual in any manner.
